Cows for Kids provides livestock and livestock support as a form of economic security for pastoral families in the Laisamis District and village of Karare in Northern Kenya. Livestock are an important source of nutrition and income for the residents of this semi-arid region of Africa.  You can pay for a share of a cow for just $125 or buy a goat for $50. Your gift will help a nomadic family recover from the devastating drought of 2005 / 2006. We celebrate and share with these families their goal of self-reliance.

Cows for Kids receives support from children, families and schools throughout the United States.  Community organizations and schools have organized a range of fundraisers that will purchase a cow or goat for a family in Northern Kenya.  Your gift can make the difference in the quality of a young child’s life.
